The Big Sheep

Situated on the North Devon coast just off the A39 Atlantic Highway two miles west of Bideford, The BIG Sheep is North Devon's premier all-weather family tourist attraction.

Animals

The Big Sheep is also a working farm as well as a family attraction, and so it often has baby animals for visitors to see in the Nursery Barn, as well as a Pets' Corner.

Outdoor Activities

Sheepdog Trials and Sheep Races

The Big Sheep hosts Border Collie sheep dog trials, and sheep races.

Goats

The goats live in the 'Goatel', with special paths and ramps to explore around the nearby trees.

Horses

Rides

Rides at the Big Sheep include the Farm Safari, mini tractor driving, Dizzy Ducks and trampolines.

Indoor Activities

Sheep

The Big Sheep hosts Sheep shows, Sheep shearing and lamb feeding.

Indoor Play Areas

The Big Sheep's indoor play areas include EWEtopia, which has ball pits, climbing areas and secure play zones for the under 2's and 5's, plus slides and free-fall death slides for older age groups.

Other indoor activities include a garden centre, internet cafe and the Sheepy Shop.

Birthday Parties at the Big Sheep

The Big Sheep offers children's birthday parties, with either a traditional tea party or hot food option, and a helium balloon for the birthday children. Party bags are available as an optional extra, and can also be bought on the day. Birthday party invitations can be downloaded and printed from the Big Sheep website.
