But what's the story, where did it all come from?

I started the directory as an extra way to promote my customers when I was a work at home mum and freelance web developer in Exmouth. Due to an illness in the family, we moved abroad a few years later, but as a native of Plymouth, I missed Devon, so we continue to operate the directory from afar: it's nice to have a connection with home :)
