As a registered member, you can publish your press releases here via the 'Add Your News' menu option. Click for more information on how to do this.
Next, there are two text boxes available, and you have to write something in the first one. Text from the first box appears as a 'teaser', with a clickable link to the rest of your story, which you post in the second box. If you want to add a photo or other image, there is a small icon with a picture of a tree. Click this and a window will pop up where you can enter the URL for your image. If your image is on your own computer, you can find its address using Windows Explorer (for example): click through to the image and its address will appear in the Explorer address bar. You might need to add the filename to the end if it isn't there. You'll need to add some text to go with the image, and the program will prompt you for this if you miss it. When you click 'Insert' the picture should appear in the Preview window. If it doesn't appear, you'll need to check the address again. Formatting your news in the text boxes uses icons which are mostly similar to those in a word processor. |
