![]() A Devon Cream Tea with a good excuse! Getting involved in Taste for Life is a fun and simple way to support WaterAid. So how about a Devon cream tea on a summer afternoon in the garden? Host a food event with friends during the Taste for Life week (9-18th of July but you can hold your event anytime this summer) and raise funds for WaterAid’s vital work overseas for some of the world’s poorest communities. It's a nice excuse to get your family and friends together. You could have a picnic, a barbeque, an alfresco dinner, or summer cocktails, plain or fancy, and as small or large as you like, just ask your guests to show their appreciation by making a donation. Celebrity chef Gary Rhodes is supporting Taste for Life this year. He says: “In the UK we’re so lucky to have fresh water on tap, for drinking, cooking, cleaning and so on. Clean water and sanitation is such a basic human need which everyone deserves. That’s why I’m supporting WaterAid’s Taste for Life; it’s a great way to raise funds for WaterAid while experimenting in your kitchen and enjoying food with others.” ![]() Go on....
