Devon Wildlife Photography Competition Print E-mail

Wild About Devon and the Devon Biodiversity Partnership are organising a special wildlife photographic competition for photographers of all ages and abilities to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity.

To enter the wildlife photography competition, take a photo that illustrates an aspect of Devon's biodiversity in the summer months. The competition closes on 30th September, and images will be judged by Nick Baker, wildlife film maker Andrew Cooper, and others.

The competition is open to amateur photographers in three age groups:

Age 5-11

The prize for the youngest category will be a bird watching trip on the River Exe with their family and the local ranger.

Age 12-17

The winner of the 12-17 category and their family will be given a private tour of a closed Devon Wildlife Trust nature reserve accompanied by the nature warden.

Adults

The adult category winner will win a trip to Lundy Island, with a tour accompanied by the island Warden, along with three of their friends or family.

The photo file you submit must be 500kb or below, but please keep a RAW copy, or any other equivalent of the highest quality version of your photograph.
